The Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Community Associate to join our operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for fostering strong relationships within our network of external advisors/vendors, portfolio companies, and strategic partners. You will also lead engagement initiatives, manage communications, and help build a sense of community that aligns with our firm's mission and values. The Role:

    • Oversee the Volition Edge platform, ensuring all content is current, facilitating the addition of new materials, and nurturing relationships with senior advisors to enhance content offerings. Manage the integration of new Centers of Excellence (CoEs) effectively.
    • Manage all aspects of quarterly webinars for each Center of Excellence, including topic coordination with CoE champions, booking guest speakers, scheduling sessions, sending invitations and reminders, and handling post-webinar follow-ups. Responsible for organizing 8-9 webinars per quarter.
    • Lead the daily management and maintenance of Volition’s Slack communities linked to our various Centers of Excellence, fostering engagement and collaboration among members.
    • Play a pivotal role in developing and executing a program for local sourcing events, dinners, and other initiatives to support our portfolio, handling both logistical and physical arrangements.
    • Oversee the management of the Preferred Vendor Network, collaborating with CoE champions to assess current offerings, identify gaps, and respond to vendor needs.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for One Guide, the vendor supporting Volition Edge and Proven, the vendor supporting our Preferred Vendor Network, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.


The Candidate:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, with 1-3 yrs of experience.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple cross-functional programs, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to navigate complex projects.
  • Ability to engage with senior leaders confidently, providing constructive upward feedback and holding stakeholders accountable to deadlines.
  • Strong experience in marketing or communications, with a growth mindset focused on driving initiatives forward and optimizing community engagement.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing logistics for both online and physical events, ensuring seamless execution and participant satisfaction.
  • Personality: Honesty/Integrity, Aggressiveness, Hands-on, organized, responsible, collaborative, has a high work ethic, is non-reactionary, down to earth, and humble.
