Role Overview:
This role sits within the Australian Awards team. The team oversees the roll out of Finder’s Awards program which recognises the best brands, products, and innovations Australia has to offer.
You will use a wide range of technical skills to support the operational areas of the Awards program. Your work may differ from time to time however, your primary responsibilities will cover reporting on the Australian Awards program, detailed competitor analysis, fact-checking content for accuracy, and preparing communications materials like social media assets and emails. You’ll also assist the team with enquiries and correspondence with the winning brands.
Responsibilities
- Manage reporting for the Australian Awards program
- Respond to brand enquiries with support from the Communications Executive
- Support the communications team in building and fact-checking materials for the Awards program (eg social media assets, press releases, announcement emails)
- Ad hoc administrative support to the Head of Awards and the wider communications team

- Must have a reliable and secure internet connection
Required Experience and Skills
- Excellent command of the English language
- Accuracy and keen eye for detail
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
Desired Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or related field
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a client-facing or media relations role
- Proficiency in Google Suite
- Interested in graphic design and/or social media
