As a communications specialist, you will be responsible for implementing communication programs and maintaining brand consistency across a range of communications platforms. You will work closely with subject matter experts to develop content that supports HNTB’s business goals. You will write, edit, produce and publish content for various audiences. This role requires a detail-oriented person who will develop high-quality content for multiple communications programs.

What You’ll Do:

  • Collaboration: Collaborates with team members to write, develop and implement communications plans that align with the firm’s business goals.
  • Content Creation: Develops engaging and informative content that is consistent with brand messaging for a variety of communications channels including internal, social and web platforms.
  • Creative Strategy: Collaborates with creative team to create engaging content.
  • Event Management: Supports the coordination and logistics of various events, such as conferences, meetings, open houses, forums and other events.
  • Editorial Management: Maintain an editorial calendar of content.
  • Analytics: Compiles and provides analytics on internal and external content.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism or related fields and 3 years of corporate communications or agency experience

  • In lieu of degree, 7 years of related experience

What You’ll Bring:

  • Excellent writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Teamwork/collaboration
  • Adobe Creative Suite and SharePoint expertise
  • Highly organized
  • Be a self-starter who possesses creativity and can-do attitude
  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and in a timely manner
  • Familiar with web content management systems such as WordPress
