The RSM CMG (Communications, Marketing, and Growth) Internship role is a unique opportunity for rising college juniors and seniors seeking learn more about RSM’s comprehensive marketing approach to serving as a first-choice provider to the middle-market. Together we are a group of 500+ combined professionals from various background that serve as in-house advisors for all marketing, communications, insights, digital experience and sales enablement needs.
As a CMG Intern, you will have first-hand exposure to best-in-class industry thought leadership and digital marketing training tools during this two-month immersion experience. To help RSM deliver on our brand promise, we create and leverage unique middle market insights that resonate, advance our brand, accelerate growth, and drive compelling experiences with our clients, colleagues and communities. This internship will help you acquire the skillset and provide you with knowledge of various marketing, communications, and sales strategies. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience in marketing and should be prepared to enter any fast-paced work environment.

Basic Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Economics or related concentration
- Ability to learn or use online productivity software including WebEx, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Knowledge of Apple and Windows-based software/hardware
- Travel to local office required. Must have access to and ability to arrange for use of reliable modes of transportation to those locations
- A minimum 3.0 GPA is preferred
LEADERSHIP SKILLS
- Executive presence with internal and external stakeholders; ability to influence others at all levels throughout the business, often without formal authority
- Ability to lead critical conversation and influence decisions; ability to uncover and drive alternative points of view across the organization, particularly with senior leaders
- Comfort working within a complex matrix organization

- Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong judgment, issues management, and problem analysis techniques
- Strong presentation, facilitation, time management, and prioritization skills

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $35 - $41 per hour
