Position Overview: We are seeking a Video Editor with a strong storytelling background, finishing capabilities, and extensive experience in social video editing to join our creative team. This role requires a proven ability to craft product-centric promo, sizzle, and highlight reels that showcase products in an exciting and visually engaging format. You will bring our brand’s vision to life by editing compelling and engaging video content across multiple platforms, including digital outlets, social media, and traditional broadcast channels. The ideal candidate is a skilled editor with a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and the ability to deliver polished, high-quality content that resonates with diverse audiences globally.

 Key Responsibilities: 

Video Editing: 

  • Edit commercial and branded video content with a focus on strong narrative storytellingand product-centric sizzle reels.
  • Highlight product features and benefits in dynamic, visually engaging styles.
  • Understanding how to collaborate with cross functional and creative teams to bring an edit from start to finish
  • Knowledge of working with team workflows through collaborative Media Asset Management systems.
  • Setting up workflows and working withing organized files directories in and outside multiple
  • Tailor content for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and websites.
  • Maintain a high standard of visual quality, ensuring all edits are refined and on-brand.

Storytelling: 

•    Craft engaging stories and visually striking product-focused narratives by piecing  together raw footage, sound, and graphics.
•    Integrate music and sound design in every phase of editorial, helping convey a clear and cohesive story. 
•    Collaborate with creative directors, producers, and scriptwriters to align with the project’s vision.

Sizzle Reel Editorial:  

  • Develop high-energy sizzle reels that emphasize product performance, features, and benefits. 
  • Incorporate impactful transitions, music, and effects to make product demonstrations pop. 
  • Work closely with product teams to ensure accurate representation of the product’s unique selling points and features. 

 Finishing and Postproduction: 

  • Perform color correction, audio leveling, and sound design to finalize edits. 
  • Apply motion graphics and visual effects where needed, ensuring seamless integration into the video. 
  • Ensure all videos meet technical specifications for broadcast, digital, and social platforms. 

 Social Video Content:  

  • Create short-form, attention-grabbing content optimized for social platforms. 
  • Stay updated on trends in social media video formats, styles, and audience preferences. 
  • Edit videos with an understanding of platform-specific nuances (e.g., vertical formats, use of captions, and trending audio). 

Collaboration: 

  • Work closely with the creative team, including Creative Directors, Producers, Directors, Brand Partners, and Designers, to bring concepts to life.
  • Provide input during brainstorming and planning sessions to ensure storytelling and product focus remain a priority. 

 Project Management: 

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining quality. 
  • Organize and archive project files efficiently, adhering to company’s established guidelines for ease of use within the collaborative environment and for future reference.  


Qualifications:

Experience: 

  • 6+ years of professional video editing experience in a commercial, advertising, or branded content environment. 
  • Demonstrated experience editing for social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, etc.). 
  • Proven track record of creating product-centric sizzle reels and visually impactful product showcases. 

Technical Skills: 

  • Proficiency in video editing software (DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc).  Must have an intermediate to advance level in multiple editing applications. 
  • Strong knowledge of finishing tools and techniques (color grading, audio mixing, motion graphics in After Effects). 
  • Familiarity with social media specs, trends, and platform-specific best practices. 

Creative Skills: 

  • Exceptional storytelling ability, with an understanding of pacing, rhythm, and audience engagement. 
  • Eye for detail, with the ability to deliver polished, professional results. 
  • Expertise in creating sizzle reels with high-energy edits, transitions, and product-focused visuals. 
  • Experience with motion graphics, typography, and visual effects is a plus. 

Soft Skills: 

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proactive drive to keep projects moving forward, with the flexibility to pivot as needed. 
  • Strong communication skills to articulate creative ideas and take constructive feedback. 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
