In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Prepare the annual budget, monthly forecast update, weekly pulse, and month-end results analysis for Japan commercial team. Lead business expense planning/control and full P&L analysis. Lead/Participate in topline execution mechanisms and daily management such as sales action tracking, orders closure tracking.
• Formulate sales price increase strategy with data driven analysis and support execution or price attainment against planned annual target. Perform deep dives into low margin deals and drive commercial accountability to achieve higher margin.
• Review commercial contracts and ensure business commercial compliance to follow pre-deal review and CCAP process.
• Support the business to drive strategic initiatives; enhancing operational process efficiency, developing business cases for long-term investment opportunities, and sharing insights from analysis to find growth opportunities.
• Support month-end closing process and prepare appropriate journal entries as needed.
• Work closely with Controllership team to support statutory & internal audits, SOX testing, B/S reviews and other Controllership tasks including running finance training to Japan business.
• Perform ad-hoc business or finance analysis as needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field
• Strong communication skills in both English and Japanese
• At least 8 years of experience in financial analysis and planning position
• PC proficiency
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
• Open to make a change for better operation, ability to deal with ambiguities
• Ability to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues as a team
• Experience in multinational, US-based corporations preferred
