Role overview  

 

The primary focus of this role is to support the Commercial team working closely with the Commercial Mangers and various other departments to achieve budgeted commercial performance, implement strategic and tactical initiatives, create and analyse MI and to make recommendations to improve business performance.

 

 Job details:

  • As a Commercial Executive, you will be analysing MI (internal and external) and tracking KPI’s to identify areas of commercial under performance and assist commercial managers in developing strategies to address.
  • You will be there to assist our Commercial Managers in budget setting, forecast planning and developing business cases.
  • You will get the opportunity to lead on Commercial projects, ensuring they run on time and within budget.
  • You will also be accountable for for the timely and accurate delivery of daily, weekly and monthly MI.
  • It will also be part of your job to question and challenge peers and managers where processes and procedures do not meet these expectations and any activity that does not place customers’ interests at the heart of how we do business.
  • The scope of this role is dynamic, while you will have a series of assigned accountabilities week on week, there is the opportunity for you to grow, develop and make this role your own.

Essential skills we would love you to have:   

  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Good Understanding of the Insurance market.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Dynamic and enthusiastic temperament with the ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team, often a virtual team.
  • Good presentation skills - verbal and oral.
  • Ability to work under pressure with many competing deadlines and priorities.
  • We are not looking for you to be analytically gifted at this stage, what we are looking for is someone with the right work ethic and to show some initiative and we will teach you the commercial and analytical side.
