Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides support to Business Development Manager as well as his/her team
  • Responds to customer requests for quote (RFQ) and engineering changes including costs and timing
  • Interacts with the customer regarding costing process and pricing negotiations to affirm methods / amounts and


assists in preparation of proposals to be presented to the customer.

  • Co-ordinates RFQ's and maintains departmental RFQ Log.
  • Facilitates quotations for all internal and customer quotes; processes all quotes completely as appropriate for


Cosma Business Analysis (CBA)

  • Creates and maintains excellent customer business relationships
  • Recognizes and identifies changes in process, product or commercial relationships and creates pricing proposals


that deal with these changes.

  • Administers customer service requirements for past and future opportunities
  • Responsible to track customer invoice payments and investigates customer related charges and concerns
  • Initiates PCN process for customer approved engineering changes and new business awards
  • Works closely with program managers and process engineers to analyze profitability of existing and / or new


business using optimum manufacturing / design techniques.

  • Continuous improvement towards the efficiency of quoting, sales and commercial systems
  • Coordinates timing and commercial activities related to the discontinuance of programs, to ensure that


decommissioning costs are accounted for, parts and service requirements are met, and obsolescence is minimized.

  • Analyzes profitability while interacting with other departments
  • Identifies and proposes cost improvement opportunities
  • Suggests and assists with implementation of improvements to internal processes, information and procedures
  • Assists in developing and maintaining a quote model and privacy statement
  • Maintains cost and sales reports for tracking and overall program profitability
  • Knows and understands process documents and customer specific requirements as they relate to this job function
  • Coordinates and supports commercial customer audits
  • Creates and maintains customer supplier tooling records
  • Reviews and submits customer Steel Resale program material forms
  • All other duties as requested and assigned from time to time by the Department Manager and his or her designee.
  • Assist with all IATF Documentation.
  • Update and distribute Key Measurable Indicators for department.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating all Program Commercial Information.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and the materials.
  • Prepare and Distribute minutes from departmental meetings.
  • Continually develop solid technical skills that will allow advancement and your own personal career development
