About the role 

We are looking for a Commercial Business Analyst to expand our Reporting & Referrals team, a small, highly skilled and motivated team based in our HQ office in Copenhagen.  

The team currently consists of four senior colleagues and is responsible for the commercial product management and client experiences in reporting, referrals and social sharing. We define the user experience and product roadmap within these areas - servicing clients globally across multiple supported platforms and devices. 

We are looking for a Commercial Business Analyst with a specialty in financial reporting.

 

In this position, you will join the ownership of the Reporting and Transactions domain, quickly becoming a subject matter expert in these areas. You will be accountable for the governance, client experience, and commercial prioritization of the reporting modules and features, ensuring the successful delivery of new functionalities and continuous enhancements. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the creation and maintenance of critical documentation, such as feature WIKIs, reports, and business procedures. Additionally, you will analyze market data and feedback, collaborate with design teams on prototyping, define specifications, and work closely with IT developers to manage implementations.  

As part of your responsibilities, you will identify process inefficiencies by analyzing current reporting workflows to uncover opportunities for improvement or automation. You will spearhead optimization efforts, coordinating improvements in how data is collected, processed, and reported to enhance efficiency and performance. Additionally, you will monitor the performance of reporting systems and provide recommendations for upgrades or optimizations to ensure ongoing system effectiveness.

  • By gaining a deep understanding of customer experience, identifying, and filling products gaps and generating new ideas 

  • By driving and coordinating improvements in how data is gathered, processed, and reported to increase efficiency and performance 

  • Identifying process inefficiencies: Analyzing current reporting processes to identify areas for improvement or automation 

  • Working with Clients Insights to gather user feedback, to ensure that the product we deploy are of quality and, to improve client experience and service 

  • Ensuring compliance through meticulous documentation, governance, and the effective delivery of platform features and enhancements 

  • Monitoring the performance of reporting systems and recommend upgrades or optimizations 

  • Competitor and industry analysis with a focus on identifying gaps and potential unique selling points 

Your profile? 

You bring over three years of experience in commercial and business analyses within the financial sector, with a strong focus on financial reporting systems, trading, client reporting, or account management. You are well-versed in financial products such as stocks, bonds, forex, options, ETFs, and mutual funds, and you have a deep understanding of the tools needed for managing the lifecycle of financial instruments online, including trade tickets, portfolio overviews, and financial and trade reports. As a self-driven and results-oriented individual, you strive to maximize consumer value while relating to the needs of investors and understanding their choices and journeys. You are energetic and motivated, comfortable working both independently and as part of a team and excel in communicating with stakeholders at all levels. You thrive in an international, fast-paced agile environment, and are fluent in English. Your problem-solving skills and creativity in driving progress and removing impediments, along with your structured thinking and ability to handle complexity, make you an invaluable asset to any organization.
