Overview:


We are seeking an experienced Data Center Partner Manager to lead the strategy of our global high-density data center colocation portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and evaluating data center operators as well as managing our colocation engagements. You will be instrumental in ensuring we are always one data center ahead of our customer demand. You will work closely with our data center team to optimise high-density infrastructure design and ensure that deployments are delivered on time and to the highest standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Manage Data Center Portfolio and Strategy

  • Source and evaluate colocation providers based on robustness, delivery timelines, commercial terms, geography, availability and compliance. 

  • Conduct vendor due diligence, including on-site audits with specialist engineers.

  • Manage customer data center facility reviews for large AI cluster deployments.

Relationship Management & Compliance

  • Manage all data center colocation vendor relationships.

  • Lead commercial negotiations, securing favorable contract terms, including SLAs, expansion options, and cost efficiency.

  • Build and maintain tailored data center evaluations for clients deploying 1,000+ GPUs (i.e. 2MW+ per cluster).

  • Collaborate with the VP of Data Centres to influence colocation design and infrastructure standards.

Capacity Planning & Forecasting

  • Own capacity planning and forecasting across all clients and regions.

  • Ensure accurate projections to ensure capacity availability for any unforeseen project..

  • Collaborate with Finance to evaluate multi-year infrastructure investments.

Operations & Deployment Oversight

  • Overview the data center deployment and commission phase with the data center partner to ensure deployments meet SLAs and client expectations.

  • Manage client and vendor coordination throughout deployments, ensuring proactive communication and timely delivery.

You will have:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical account management, infrastructure operations, or data-center/OEM management roles.

  • A customer-centric mindset, strong sense of ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to align stakeholders across a variety of teams.

  • A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to break down complex data, develop practical solutions, and iterate quickly in a dynamic environment.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with cloud compute and data center colocation infrastructure standards, especially for high-density deployments (e.g. GPU clusters, HPC or AI workloads).

  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering, SRE, DevOps, system administration, or HPC infrastructure.

  • Experience collaborating with network engineering teams.

  • Technical degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
