The Payment and Card Solutions Support Department is looking for new people to strengthen our team and help us meet the growing demand for our services. You will be responsible for investigating incidents of varying severity. You will detect and analyze issues, determine their causes and identify appropriate solutions to meet client needs while providing appropriate links. You will also correct application incidents and make service inquiries. You will prepare and carry out various computer operations to ensure that business partners’ activities are running smoothly. As a Cobol, Hogan, Programmer analyst, more specifically, you will be required to:

Investigate incidents of varying severity

Detect and analyze issues, determine their causes and identify appropriate solutions to meet client needs

Liaise with units involved in your activities, with the relevant application leads
-
Continuously monitor the applications portfolio and take appropriate action to ensure business continuity

Propose improvements to enhance the effectiveness and quality of the applications portfolio or the unit’s operations
-
Analyze and complete service requests to address clients’ specific needs
-
Modify applications, run test scenarios and produce the required documentation to ensure quality and monitor changes once in production
-
Prepare and carry out computer operations to ensure that production operations are running smoothly.

What you bring to the table

Bachelor's degree in a related field
-
A minimum of four years of relevant experience, including two to three years’ experience in application support/development under Z-OS
-
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered

Experience in supporting production applications (day/evening)

Knowledge of French is required
-
Advanced knowledge of the MVS z/OS and ISPF (PC 3270) environments

Advanced knowledge of the following languages: JCL, JCL Proc, SYSIN and COBOL

Familiarity with Hogan

Knowledge of the following languages: REXX, CLIST, SAS, SQL (Structured Query Language)

Knowledge of distributed version control utilities: Endevor and GIT

Knowledge of workload automation utilities: Control-M

Available 24/7 as an on-call advisor with pay, to provide support for production applications (availability bonus offered)"
