The Leidos Office of Technology (OOT) is seeking a talented and motivated Content Management System (CMS) Developer to join our Technology Transition team. As a CMS developer, you will lead the evolution of SmartVault—Leidos’ next-generation knowledge base platform. In this role, you’ll be the primary developer of SmartVault, taking charge of its ongoing maintenance, regular updates, and continuous enhancement to ensure it remains a cutting-edge resource that brings together insights and innovations from across the company. SmartVault empowers users to quickly locate information through intuitive filters, advanced search tools, and an AI-powered assistant. Additionally, you’ll support development and integration with other key systems such as SharePoint, PowerBI, Jama, BrightIdea, Confluence, WordPress, and various Microsoft Dynamics applications. Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the ongoing maintenance, updates, and continuous enhancement of SmartVault, Leidos’ next-generation knowledge base platform.
- Develop and implement new features and functionality to ensure the platform remains cutting-edge and user-friendly.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements that drive smarter decision-making.
- Integrate and support additional tools including SharePoint, PowerBI, Jama, BrightIdea, Confluence, WordPress, and various Microsoft Dynamics applications.
- Ensure high standards of usability, performance, and security across all digital platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues while providing reliable support to end users
Basic Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, with 4+ years of experience. Or, Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, with 2+ years of experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- Demonstrated proficiency in HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript for building robust web solutions.
- Hands-on experience integrating third-party content management services together through REST or similar APIs.
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React and Vue.js to enhance user interface functionality.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of UX principles, usability testing, and accessibility standards to create engaging digital experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working with WordPress to manage and customize content management systems.
- Prior experience building Power Apps using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Prior experience developing Sharepoint integrated applications.
- Familiarity with database management, particularly MySQL, to support efficient data handling.

Pay Range:Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
