Position Summary:
The Cluster Sales Manager for Medical Device Sales (IVD) oversees and manages sales operations within a designated cluster of territories, focusing on In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) products. This role involves leading a team of Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets, developing and implementing strategic plans, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Cluster Sales Manager reports directly to the Business Unit Manager.
Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership and Performance Management.

Lead and manage a team of Account Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets outlined in the Annual Operating Plan.

Develop and implement sales strategies and plans in alignment with the Business Unit Manager's directives.

Monitor and analyze sales performance within the cluster and take corrective actions as necessary to ensure targets are met.
Account Management and Development.

Oversee contract compliance and maintain relationships with key accounts within the IVD sector.

Identify and develop new business opportunities within the cluster.

Support Account Managers in effective account maintenance and growth.
Customer Relationship Management.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders within the cluster.

Address and resolve customer issues and concerns promptly and effectively.

Ensure effective communication with clients to deliver a positive customer experience.
Reporting and Analysis

Regularly provide detailed reports to the Business Unit Manager on market situations, competitor and customer activities, sales projections/forecasts, and overall sales performance in all assigned accounts and territories.

Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Marketing Operations and Strategy Implementation

Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns tailored to the needs of the IVD market in assigned territories and accounts.

Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.

Assist in the development of promotional materials and marketing collateral.
Team Development and Support

Provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and capabilities of the sales team.

Foster a high-performance culture within the team and support junior sales team members as needed.
Regulatory and Policy Compliance

Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.

Report any product complaints within 24 hours of awareness.

Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related field.

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing preferably in Medical Device Industry
