This position is eligible for remote work. This role will have occasional on site expectations.

Required Skills:

  • Expertise in building and operating OpenStack private clouds, including enterprise experience with Keystone, Nova, Ceph, Neutron, Kolla, Cinder, Glance, RabbitMQ, and clustered MySQL using Galera
  • Expertise in building and operating Kubernetes clusters, including enterprise experiene with kubeadm, ArgoRollouts, ArgoCD, Cilium (for network egress enforcement)
  • Fluency and proven expertise with Linux/Unix

Additional Desired Experience:

  • Hashicorp vault administration
  • Stackstorm administration
  • NetApp Trident storage for Kubernetes
  • Postgres
  • Python scripting
  • GCP (or other enterprise Cloud service AWS/Azure)
  • PGO (Kubernetes Postgres Operator)

Certifications:

  • Prefer RedHat Certified Engineer credential (or similar).
  • Redhat Certified Architect credential (or similar) preferred.
  • Other useful certification include Openstack from RedHat, Mirantis or similar organization

Education:

  • Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline
  • 5+ years of experience or any combination of education and/or experience is required.

Base Pay Range:

$105,000 - $130,000 per year

Physical Requirements:


This position requires you to sit, stand and perform general office functions. You may also be required to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Bending, stooping and reaching are also frequently required.
