The team will develop and deliver enterprise architecture products, capability prototypes, system plans, enterprise cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, and data management services; as well as provide enterprise architecture tool operations support for service offerings across USTRANSCOM and its Transportation Component Commands. As the command transitions into commercial cloud services and future capabilities, T-Rex will support integration efforts to perform analysis across enterprise, systems of systems, and individual system levels as well as assist the Government in developing enterprise strategies, technical standards, and services. All work will be performed at Scott Air Force Base.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience developing IaC and CI/CD pipelines to support an Enterprise cloud environment
  • CompTIA Security+ or comparable IAT/IAM II/III certification required prior to hire
  • Installs, configures, and manages various network devices and services
  • Ensures security and hardening around firewalls, switches, routers, and other various networking components within the enterprise environment are DoD compliant
  • Provides enterprise level support and ownership of network infrastructure technologies in a multisite environment
  • Configures and supports networking for hybrid cloud technology such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
  • Manages the network firewall security platform including operating systems, configuration, redundancy, planning, administration, and monitoring along with the managed vendors
  • 2+ years of experience with layer 2 and layer 3 network architecture required
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools required
  • 2+ years of experience working as a Network Engineer or equivalent IT field preferred
  • Knowledge in multi-cloud networking interfacing with physical network infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Secret Security Clearance
  • IAM Level I or better (e.g., Security+)
  • 2-4+ years of experience in systems engineering and support
  • Experience with system development, maintenance, integration, and testing
  • 2+ years of experience with platforms such as Azure, AWS, Windows and LINUX systems, development tools and IDEs (integrated development environments), debugging, lifecycles, security, and best practices.
  • Experience collaborating with both internal and external development groups.

Desired Skills:

  • AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification or higher

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $98,000 - $108,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
