Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cloud Network Engineer to join our platform team. As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the networking infrastructure on Microsoft Azure cloud platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure and reliable network solutions that meet the stakeholder’s requirements.

· Collaborating with development teams to ensure seamless integration of applications with Azure services following DevOps principles and processes.

· Designing, implementing and maintaining Azure infrastructure (networking, security, etc.).

· Deploying and configuring Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Spring Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, etc.

· Developing and implementing automation and orchestration using tools like Terraform, PowerShell, Azure CLI, GitHub (Actions).

· Monitoring and optimizing the performance, availability, and scalability of cloud-native Azure solutions.

· Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect data and resources on Azure.

· Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Azure infrastructure, services, and deployments.

· Keeping up to date with the latest Azure features, services, and best practices.

Qualifications

Skills:

· Strong experience in designing, deploying, and managing Azure networking solutions.

· Knowledge of networking principles and experience with network configurations in Kubernetes.

· Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, gateways, and load balancers.

· Solid understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), DNS, VPN technologies, and network security principles.

· Familiarity with Azure networking services like Azure Firewall, Azure Application Gateway, and ExpressRoute.

· Proficiency in Azure services and architecture, including Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Spring Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, etc.

· Experience with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep.

· Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or other relevant tools.

· Knowledge of Azure security features and best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), Azure Active Directory, and network security groups.

· Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Elastic Cloud, Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, and Azure Application Insights.

· Familiarity with Java Spring stack is a plus.

· Affinity with software development is a plus.

· Understanding of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines and DevOps principles.

· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

· Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
