Position Summary
MetLife Investments is seeking a talented and motivated Cloud-Focused Full Stack Software Engineer to enhance the technical delivery of MetLife Investment's Cloud Solutions. As a member of our dynamic product development team, you will work on the development of a Master Data Management platform with Reference and Market data domains (asset, party, ratings, pricing, index, FX, etc.) by leveraging microservice components within the Investments Data Lake. The solution will emphasize scalability and operational aspects for specific data domains

Required Skills:
- 4-6 years of overall experience in the following:
- Relational databases, .Net.
- Object Oriented Programming, Design Patterns, and worked in Agile development environment.
- API-driven solution stack, ETL experience, handling large volumes of data in data lake, reactive architecture.
- 3-5 years working on Microsoft Azure.
- Azure Cloud experience with Cloud native development as well as migration of existing applications.
- Hands-on development and implementation experience in Databricks Lakehouse, .Net, React and/or Cosmos DB.
Preferred Skills
- 3-5 years' experience in design and development of the User Interface and Investments / Asset Management Reference and Market data using Azure Cloud services.
- Experience with Azure Event Hub, Azure App services and Azure Service Bus.
- Continuous Integration and Deployment (GitHub or Azure DevOps preferred).
- Infrastructure Automation (Terraform preferred).
- Container Creation and Orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- E2E test automation.
- Creation of architectural specifications, ensuring feasibility, functionality, and integration with existing systems/platforms.
- Proven experience in guiding, and mentoring team members in architecting, designing, and planning out complex technical implementations.
- Leading the collection and documentation of user requirements as well as the development of user stories and estimates into technology solutions for product features, in collaboration with Product Owner/Manager.
- Creation of detailed technical design and development of applications using Azure Cloud services.
- Responsible for prioritizing problems, incidents, and service requests and managing process with Product Owner.
- Champions Agile and DevSecOps adoption by driving product team to move forward on the Agile Maturity Journey.
- Understanding of Microservices architecture and designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Sounds understanding of data processing fundamentals, data warehouse concepts and best practices.
- Full stack engineer with ability to write object-oriented, self-documenting, maintainable code.
The salary range for applicants for this position is $100,000 - $145,000.
