Cloud Architect

We are looking for a talented Cloud Architect to manage and expand our company's cloud services; leading cloud projects and helping us in our strategic vision of "cloud first". They will serve as architect in projects translating the needs of the business into a cloud structure, considering the resource use and scalability. They will play a strategic role in the control of all infrastructure services in the cloud (front-end, back-end, storage, databases, Security, and more). The ideal candidate will have a solid knowledge of cloud computing and technology systems, as well as design experience, and transfer of applications to the cloud. Design Cloud environments from a holistic point of view, ensuring that it meets all the requirements. To fit into his position, you must:

Role and Responsibilities:

• Have a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to effectively share your knowledge. being a good teamwork player is strictly necessary

• Have sufficient skills and a solid background to participate in strategic boards on cloud infrastructure strategy

• Have a peripheral vision and knowledge to work closely with other team members, developers and commercial applications, security, networks, ...

• Be proactive and identify the best cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the business

• Being able to participate as an architect in projects translating the specific needs of the project into a cloud structure that adapts to those needs and considering the needs of the project in terms of resource use and scalability

• Be used to working and managing suppliers as well as with other colleagues in a global environment

• Familiar with Devops and Agile methodology with sufficient knowledge to provide the technologies and methodology to enhance and improve it

Skill Requirements/Preferences:

• 5+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and deploying cloud-based solutions at the international enterprise level

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure department

• Expert working knowledge in AWS, good working knowledge in other major cloud products

• Previous experience in SW Development

• Experience supporting, maintaining, monitoring, access and cost control of production applications or workloads in a cloud-based environment

• Experience in building highly automated infrastructure and CI/CD deployments (Terraform IaC)

• Strong understanding of AWS Well-architected Framework, modular architecture, microservices and serverless

• Background with OS (windows or Linux), Databases, middleware and IT services

• Experience in managing several projects with competing schedules

• Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks

• High English proficiency is required, you need to use in your daily business

Education Requirements:

• Recommended: Technical / Higher Engineering / Master, related to IT technologies

Tasks and Activities:

• Technical lead in Cloud architectures, propose solutions to business applications requirements

• Design and follow project roadmap to the requirements of the business

• Resource optimization in Cloud environment, according to utilization levels

• Cloud cost control and optimization

• Implement and improve the level of Security in Cloud environments in cooperation with other team members

• Provide guidance to other team members on how to adopt Cloud technologies

• Document and maintain a record of Cloud infrastructure deployments

• Help diagnose and troubleshoot incidents when they arise
