Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and enhance cloud capabilities, designing multi-cloud and hybrid cloud solutions to align with business and technical needs.
  • Develop cloud migration strategies for moving applications and workloads to the cloud, ensuring seamless integration and optimization.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies, services, and providers to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Strategically develop and deliver long-term goals for cloud architecture standards, aligning with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance requirements.
  • Create short-term tactical solutions to achieve long-term cloud objectives and roadmap milestones, balancing immediate needs with long-term goals.
  • Formulate strategies and plans for disaster recovery and business continuity, ensuring the resilience and reliability of cloud environments.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on cloud architecture best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture design and implementation.
  • Hands-on experience with leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, including multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies, infrastructure as code, and serverless computing.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in the cloud.
  • Experience with cloud migration strategies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in cloud automation, scripting, and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
