Your role at Clorox:
Leads a team responsible for delivering strategic engagement / activation tied to National Account customers that are in the traditional Jan San Distribution space. The ideal candidate will need to have people management experience.
In this role, you will:
Engage our People as Owners –
- Create an environment that encourages the team to act as business owners by effectively delegating, developing and supporting the career planning and succession needs of the PPD National account teams organization.
- Create an environment where individuals are collaboratively working with direct reports on the development of myGPS key priorities and development areas by leveraging the Sales Competencies framework
- Drive inclusion and diversity of experience, gender, ethnicity and thought both internally within the organization but also with customers and key stakeholders.
Business Planning and Strategy Development –
- Deliver the annual business plan for the Division and support the Division’s Long Range Planning activities.
- Translate the Annual business plan into JBP by customer / channel plans for the National account team to deliver on the Volume, NCS and RR spending commitments.
- Direct involvement in long range planning and T2T with LEC’s.
- Collaborate and influence the GTM team to gather resources and provide support for various NAM/Direct Account initiatives.
- Work closely with DOS National Account and DOS Strategy and to ensure that the Geographic Team has a roadmap to execute National Account Plan.
- Elevate penetration at key accounts drive strategic initiatives.
- Ensure that JBP with national accounts are inclusive on National Account end user targeting where both parties can do joint calls either at the national account level or at the region level with the geographic team.
- Ensure that the National account team has eCommerce Go-To-Market incorporated in their plans that appropriately utilizes eCommerce as a growth engine for their direct accounts.
- Collaborate and drive for partnership with the OOH team to land national account end users.
- Effectively communicate national account plans and priorities to the broader PPD Nation to set the stage for excellence in execution.
Drive the Annual Field Sales Business Plan - Deliver PPD Financial Targets
- Lead the National account Team field sales selling activities consistent with the PPD field sales business plan that result in delivering Annual NCS & Profit targets as well as Admin / Trade Spending Targets
- The plan will document and hold the National Account Team NAM’s accountable for individual results and have ability to clearly communicate those results for purposes of evaluations and training.
- Hold the National Account team accountable for executing with excellence on plans that appropriately include partnership with the appropriate Geographic Team members.
- Deliver Category Growth & SAC/AIP Objectives for Go to Market Verticals / Channels
- Collaborate with the DOS National Accounts, DOS-Geography, Go-To-Market and Director of Capabilities to ensure National Accounts Managers are trained and educated on selling approach, distribution strategy, current products, and new product launches
What we look for:
- 8+ Years of CPG Experience
- Experience in rolling out national programs with disruptors
- Retail, Commercial, ecommerce customer selling experience required
- People Management experience required
- Sales Planning and Marketing experience is beneficial

This role is open to consider applicants with the understanding that the Customer is located on the East Coast Time Zone. If you are located within 50 miles of a Clorox Hub, you will be Hybrid 2.0 with the commitment of being in office 3x per week. Open to remote qualified candidates.

The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $148,500 - $298,600
–Zone B: $136,200 - $273,700
–Zone C: $123,800 - $248,800
