The Regulatory Support team is a dedicated group that focuses on client reporting services, ensuring correct regulatory documentation, and delivering large scale change initiatives across business units. The team offers a unique blend of project skills and product experience, providing a consistent, high-quality approach to managing and executing change across the Corporate & Investment Bank.
Job Summary:
As a Client Operations Analyst within the Regulatory Support team, you will be a key player in managing and executing change across the Corporate & Investment Bank. You will be responsible for onboarding and query management for client reporting services, ensuring the correct regulatory documentation is in place, and delivering against large scale change initiatives. This role provides a unique opportunity to leverage your project skills and product experience in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Referencing Data and other BAU queries
- Devising efficient, standardized processes to track onboarding of clients to regulatory protocols
- Dealing with internal and external queries in relation to regulatory protocols, providing a central point of contact
- Assisting in education around the decision trees for regulatory requirements to trade with various counterparties
- Regular communication of statuses and issues to relevant internal stakeholders
- Owning and managing control reconciliations, MIS production and dissemination
- Supporting with client outreach initiatives
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Previous investment banking experience required
- Experience and strong product knowledge of derivative products
- Previous experience in a regulatory role, including reporting
- Excellent delivery record in previous roles, ability to manage changing priorities and high-volume processes
- Experience of OTC derivative processing/lifecycle, in one or multiple asset classes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, at all levels
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
