As a Client Operations Analyst within the Merchant and Third Party Operations you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing and reconciliation for High Risk Merchant and Third Party fees and or fines.
You will act as a subject matter expert within for the Registration team within all Merchant, Third Party and High risk industry requirements, documentation and fee allocations required by the Brands. The Registration team members will partner with senior executives on a regular basis to ensure the business is following proper due diligence requirements as well as ensuring all documentation provided is executed with accuracy. The Registration team members must have exceptional skills in documentation, evidence tracking, data analysis, and creating reports. Additional responsibilities will be assisting with monthly Quality Reviews and exception reporting to validate accuracy of processes and procedures to guarantee audit readiness.
Job responsibilities
- Act as a Subject matter expert for all Card Brand Registrations
- Administer, process, and renew registrations and ensure the most accurate, confidential, up-to-date, and timely information is provided throughout the registration process
- Analyzes documents to evaluate effectiveness and accuracy
- Ensure integrity of the Registration Central database/SharePoint site for licensing activity, cataloging of all relevant documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Maintaining status of requests and safeguarding confidential files
- Monitor Merchant/Third Party existing licenses for upcoming expiration periods in order to action
- Updates and maintains submission plan, approvals, pending approvals, and terminations
- Liaise with Legal department to ensure efficient processing of document reviews for approval with gaming/gambling High Risk industry
- Maintains up-to-date industry knowledge and assists with policy reviews and identify emerging trends, determine their validity, and propose solutions when appropriate
- Ensure daily/monthly billing and reconciliation is successfully completed without errors
- Provide coaching, direction and guidance to internal teams on High Risk Registration requirements per MCC
- Manage customer experience, and drive results, develop appropriate metrics and management reporting
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and time management skills
- Strong and effective skills in problem solving, analytical reasoning and balancing multiple tasks
- Expertise in the ability to collate, report and reconcile large data sets
- A strong interest in, and general understanding of Merchant Services, compliance, quality, operations, legal, & risk
- Extremely analytical with superior Excel/Access knowledge
- Proficient with PowerPoint and developing high quality presentations graphs and analytics
- Knowledge of electronic payment processing, PCI standards across multiple lines of business, PCI compliance and risk impact analysis, as well as Payment Brand rules
- Ability to recommend appropriate documents based on Merchant or Third Party requirements
- Demonstrated end-to-end responsibility for identification and mitigation of process gaps related to mandated policies and procedure
- Demonstrated ability to monitor and analyze performance data both in real time and on a cumulative basis, and make appropriate recommendations to ensure success
- Strong customer/client focus while ensuring a sound control environment and ability to prioritize multiple complex situations to deliver successful results
Preferred Qualifications, Skills & Capabilities
- College degree, specialized training or equivalent work
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present
- Problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously are essential
- Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks
- Ability to prioritize and drive initiatives to completion
- Outstanding ability to analyze data with keen attention to detail, proactive in anticipating problems and solutions
- Proven expertise in leveraging Alteryx for data preparation, blending, and analytics
- Proficient in MS Office
