Kemper interns will be exposed to the following concepts and experiences:

Support and report on the execution of the Kemper process improvement programs, including the coordination and participation in best practice creation, monthly metric analysis, ad-hoc reviews, and other audits / diagnostics as needed

Ideate and coordinate pilot initiatives to understand and create innovation for insurance

Work with management to support improvement plans and controls for tracking improvement or deterioration resulting from the metric analysis and or workflows

Provide support to various functions at Kemper possibly including (but not limited): Finance, Operations, Strategy, Audit, HR
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (MUST HAVE):

Junior or Senior status enrolled at California State University - Los Angeles

Qualifying majors in an academic area related to financial services or insurance industry, such as, finance, data analytics, communications, accounting, or business administration

Non-business majors are welcome if strong interest in financial services and/or insurance industry

A minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 GPA scale

This position is a hybrid role and may require work in the office 3-4 days a week
-
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
The hourly rate for this opportunity is $22 per hour.
