Job Description

Get to know the role:

• We are looking for a City Marketplace & Retention Specialist who can regularly provide a comprehensive insight of the city marketplace and shape the growth direction of Grab in the city, also acting as the expert of the city to provide advice to regional team on new product launch or strategy and provide support and assistance on strategy execution in the city.

The day-to-day activities:

• Perform marketplace performance data analysis of Grab and prepare report & insights of the summary marketplace condition.
• Monitor on-ground sentiment via engagement activities & survey and maintain strong relationships with key Driver-partner & Delivery-partner to continuously obtain ground truth.
• Deliver valuable overall city insights and recommendations for related stakeholders to act upon.
• Identify issues and opportunities in the city and provide the best strategy or solution to grow the city aligned with goals and objectives and available resources.
• Coordinate and run campaigns, events, or projects both independently and in a team

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in finance, accounting, business, tech company or fast-paced working environment in strategy or business development.
• Analytics - Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Communication skills – Fluency in spoken and written English and Malay. Can communicate well with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Stakeholder management - Comfortable in meeting new people and able to build good relationships with the key Driver-partners & Delivery-partners and Government officers.
• Initiator - able to throw in big WHAT IF and light up new ideas with rationale attached.
• Passion and energy to excel - Eager to identify, own, and tackle new opportunities and challenges.
• Able to travel if needed.
• Proficiency in Mandarin & Hokkien will be added as an advantage.
• Fresh Grads with exceptional achievement in extracurricular activity, case competition, or academics medalist are also welcome.
