About the Position
Dexis seeks a Chief of Party (COP) to lead an anticipated multi-year good governance and anti-corruption program in the Dominican Republic.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
The Chief of Party is responsible for overall leadership and technical direction of the project and coordination with key counterparts, ensuring an integrated vision among different activities and stakeholders, with a focus on achieving the overall objective and deliverables defined in the scope of the contract.
- Providing overall management and technical leadership.
- Serving as lead supervisor of project personnel, short-term experts, subcontractors, and grantees to achieve project objectives in a timely manner.
- Providing technical direction to the team within the scope of the contract.
- Serving as Dexis’ point of contact for USAID, government institutions, other implementing partners, and other key stakeholders.
- Managing the contract and being responsible for the overall technical and financial health of the project.
- Leading the development and submission of project deliverables, such as reports, annual work plans, and other items as specified by the contract.
- Overseeing monitoring and evaluation of activities, meeting targets, and adapting activities as needed to achieve program outcomes.
- Ensuring the project adheres to USAID rules and regulations as well as Dexis’ policies and procedures.
- Fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment that actively solicits inputs from team members and provides opportunities for growth.
Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience related to good governance and/or program management.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience related to anti-corruption, accountability, and transparency programming.
- At least three (3) years of senior leadership and supervisory experience, previous experience as a USAID COP strongly preferred.
- Previous successful representational experience with donors and all levels of host governments, civil society, and communities.
- Proven experience in oversight of finance, procurement, and logistics functions.
- Excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills with demonstrated ability to lead and work effectively with a wide range of staff and stakeholders.
- Professional proficiency in oral and written English and Spanish.
Below is the pay range aligned with this position. When developing a range, Dexis evaluates compensation holistically, triangulating between external market research, our budget for the position, and internal equity to arrive at a figure that is fair and competitive. Offers within this range will be based on an individual candidate's qualification, relevant education and experience, skills, performance, and organizational needs.
Dexis pay range for this role:
$140,000—$185,000 USD
