As we continue to grow and expand, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive team to help drive our financial strategy and success. The CFO will partner closely with the Founder & CEO and the Board on strategic initiatives such as partnerships, investments and global expansion.

This role is ideal for an accomplished finance executive looking to leverage their expertise in a dynamic leadership position or for a seasoned senior finance professional ready to step into their first Chief Financial Officer role and drive strategic impact. This is an onsite position based in Bedford, MA headquarters. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide financial leadership and insights to the executive team and board of directors.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to optimize resource allocation.
  • Manage all aspects of financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Monitor and control financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgets and financial targets.
  • Oversee tax planning and compliance. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate financial audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
  • Oversee cash flow management, investment strategies, and capital allocation.
  • Manage capital structure, including debt and equity financing, to optimize funding for strategic initiatives while minimizing financial risk.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree and/or CPA preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 15 years in finance leadership roles within a portion having been spent in a manufacturing industry.
  • 3+ years of experience conducting financial audits, reviewing financial records, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory standards to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Experience in a high growth venture environment; global company, IPO, and/or public company experience is a plus. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and reporting.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding collaboration, communication and interpersonal abilities.
