The Opportunity
This position works out of our Tashkent location in the EPD Division.
What You’ll Do
-
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

Adjustments of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including financial statement preparation, reconciliation, and analysis.

Review and approve journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Coordinate and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory agencies to facilitate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.

Monitor plan vs actual

Provide financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions and initiatives.

Responsibility for other countries Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan: control and supporting month-end closing processes

People management and development and successor planning
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a relevant field
-
Upper intermediate English – speaking, writing
-
2+Experience in people management, able to motivate the team and lead by example
-
Minimum 5 years' experience in the same role
-
Extensive corporate and accounting/ tax experience
-
Must have knowledge: IFRS, PL, balance sheet
