Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million+ personal and small business customers. Within RBS, Everyday Products is focussed on building innovative and value creating everyday products for all Australians. It is our role to drive sustainable growth of everyday transaction account products by delivering exceptional experiences for customers.
The Core Manufacturing Crew is dedicated to delivering customer obsessed home buying solutions enabling Australians to achieve their home ownership goals, whilst having the most sophisticated risk and reward settings and ensuring responsible risk management
The Core Product Strategy and Governance squad is accountable to define end-to-end core product strategy to meet changing needs of customers on their home buying journey whilst also maintaining product integrity. This squad is one of the four squads within the Core Product Management Value Stream, which is accountable to design and implement features that do the basics so well they are almost unnoticed and exceeds customer expectations in defining moments.

Your reporting line is to the Chapter Area Lead, Product & Solution Management with a dotted line to the Product Owner, Core Product Strategy and Governance and will,

Deliver on the core product strategy and roadmap.

Deliver a market leading customer value proposition
-
Deliver and maintain safe and compliant products in line with the product design and distribution obligations.

Lead 6-8 product managers across the Value Stream
-
Develop product capability and coach chapter members to reach their potential, directly influencing the performance and career outcomes of your chapter members.

Contribute to and influence outcomes for the Home Buying Chapter Area as a member of the chapter leadership team
More specifically, you will:
-
Lead and execute multiple prioritised initiatives to achieve business outcomes
-
Use a data-driven and collaborative approach to identify and deliver initiatives that search for and then solve business problems across multiple products
-
Identify, develop and drive product and process development opportunities that are customer centric, reduce risk and improve productivity throughout the portfolio
-
Apply your judgement and delivery experience to drive delivery in partnership with project and technical teams
-
Develop business cases to secure funding and resources
-
Apply Business Acumen, Leadership, Change Management and Project Management experience to determine optimal approach in project execution
-
Lead 6-8 Chapter members, including recruitment, development and coaching to realise their full potential.

Drive and uplift product management capabilities and skillset for the Product Solution and Management Chapter.
We want to hear from people who have:

Extensive product management within the home buying
-
Strong leadership ability and a coaching mindset
-
Home Buying/ lending product experience in banking or financial services industry is desirable
-
Proven track record of performance and delivery with a high degree of integrity and judgement
-
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of commercial acumen

Strong Communication, Influencing and business writing skills
-
Strong risk and issues identification/management skills
