Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Channel Sales Manager with expertise in SaaS product sales and channel management. The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of channel strategies, nurture relationships with key partners, and drive revenue growth through a strong partner ecosystem in the Indian market. This role requires a deep understanding of SaaS-based solutions, partner enablement, and a proven ability to achieve sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Channel Partner Management:

· Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with key distributors, resellers, and system integrators across India.

· Build long-term partnerships through regular engagement, trust-building, and mutual growth initiatives.

· Act as the primary contact for channel partners, resolving escalations and providing ongoing support to ensure success.

 

Sales Strategy & Execution:

· Develop and execute a robust channel sales strategy to drive revenue and achieve regional sales targets.

· Collaborate with partners to create and implement joint business plans, including sales forecasts, go-to-market strategies, and profitability goals.

· Drive SaaS subscription growth through partner channels by enabling partners to effectively position, sell, and support the company’s solutions.

 

Performance Monitoring & Optimization:

· Track partner performance against agreed-upon KPIs and sales targets, providing actionable insights and improvement plans.

· Conduct regular business reviews with partners to assess progress, identify challenges, and plan next steps.

· Leverage data analytics to monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine channel strategies.

 

Partner Training & Enablement:

· Design and execute training programs to enhance partner knowledge of the SaaS product portfolio, sales methodologies, and customer value propositions.

· Provide partners with tools, resources, and marketing collateral to effectively generate leads and close deals.

· Organize workshops, webinars, and certifications to upskill partners and ensure alignment with product updates and enhancements.

 

Collaboration with Internal Teams:

· Work closely with marketing teams to plan and execute co-branded campaigns, events, and demand-generation activities.

· Collaborate with product and technical teams to address partner-specific requirements and provide tailored solutions.

· Partner with finance and operations to streamline processes such as deal registration, payments, and revenue recognition.

 

Market Development:

· Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the partner network in untapped markets and regions within India.

· Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and partner summits to strengthen brand presence and relationships.

· Act as a thought leader in the SaaS ecosystem, promoting the company’s vision and value proposition.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

· Experience in channel sales, partner management, or related roles, with a strong track record of driving revenue growth and managing large partner networks.

· Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets through channel sales in the Indian market.

 

Education: 

· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

· Strong understanding of SaaS business models, subscription-based pricing, and cloud-based solutions.

· Extensive experience managing multi-tiered partner ecosystems, including resellers, system integrators, and distributors.

· Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and partner management platforms.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

· Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

· Willingness to travel extensively across India.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working with global SaaS companies or managing international partnerships.

· Familiarity with SaaS-specific metrics such as ARR (Annual Recurring Revenue), churn and upsell rates.

· Knowledge of partner incentive programs, deal registration, and channel marketing strategies.

· Expertise in automation tools and sales enablement platforms.

· Knowledge of Indian regulatory and tax frameworks for SaaS businesses.
