About the job
Within our Food Water Division, you will be responsible for managing and developing sales of Alfa Laval products and services by developing business
channels (including wholesalers, distributors, agents, integrators, system builders & service partners).
• Formulate, implement and update the sales plan for assigned products, services and channels.
• Prepare quotations and do quote follow up in alignment with Inside Sales or P&A.
• Update and implement business channels agreements for appointed wholesalers and distributors,
together with his/ her manager.
• Visit channel Partners, key end customers and train channels and make sure they have the right and relevant tools to achieve sales targets.
• Analyze and understand market insights, the buying behavior and the function of Channel Partners
and ways to the markets to support the channel to grow the sales.
• Balance types of channel Partners for best efficient use of resource and to Expanding Coverage of
Channel network.
• Is consultant for distributor regarding expanding their presence and making their operation efficient.
• Provides oversight to the collection and reporting of channel management statistics, ensures efficient
processes are in place to be easy to do business with.
• Identify key factors to grow the sales at each channel and to motive the channel to prioritize Alfa Laval product sales.
Ability to travel 25%-50%
What you know:
Bachelor’s Degree – preferred engineering or business.
Significant relevant experience in lieu of education.

Proven commercial orientation.

Background including successful selling in an Industrial environment, typically 3+yrs

Previous territory or vertical market management experience, a plus

Previous Distributor management experience, a plus

Experience with the practical application of fluid handling equipment – pumps, valves, fittings, heat
exchangers and related products

We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to get it right. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary and will also be dependent on your location. The overall salary range for this role is typically $100,000 - $120,000 base + bonus.
