About the role

We’re looking for talented and ambitious channel partnerships lead. The ideal candidate has experience building and developing a team to create pipeline via referrals, managing a high-velocity sales cycle and navigating a strategic partnership strategy. You will know key metrics and drivers to accomplish this and have experience defining and executing against effective strategies to accomplish your team's objectives. 

As an early member of the channel team, you will help shape the future of the program at Thatch. Your responsibilities will span from strategic planning to hands-on execution, requiring a balance of big-picture thinking and attention to detail.

What you’ll do
  • Hire, Train, and Develop Channel Partnership Managers
  • Create KPIs and drive performance through a measurement of: activity, pipeline, and monthly forecasts
  • Be the expert on the team of all things ICHRA and Thatch - you must be able to execute as well or better than your team members, even in a management role
  • Work cross functionally with sales, engineering, product, and operations teams to create a great experience for our partners and improve our efficiency
  • Create repeatable processes to enable rapid scale
  • Travel to meet with Brokers and your team members to drive revenue, build relationships and increase collaboration
Background we're looking for
  • 10+ years of channel sales experience, especially working through Brokers
  • Building teams from 0 to 1
  • Experience doing whatever it takes at a startup, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Experience we’d be particularly excited about
  • Relationships in the broker community you could leverage immediately
  • Having a previous or current broker license in any state
What to expect

We interview rigorously based on integrity, talent, and drive; the trust we display in our teammates from day 1 is a reflection of the confidence we have in this process. We aim to evaluate the things you’ll be doing every day as best we can, and we move quickly — the entire interview process is typically complete within 2 weeks. We will conduct the following interviews:

  • 30 minute Zoom meeting to talk about Thatch, your background, and answer any questions about the role
  • 45 minute Zoom meeting to hear more about your experience and how you'd approach working in the role
  • Three to five interviews with Thatchers
  • Take home project to assess your functional expertise for the role you're applying for
  • 30 minute Zoom call to review your project
  • 30 minute Zoom meeting with one of our founders to discuss your approach to culture and our operating principles
  • Final 30 minute call to answer any outstanding questions
