We are searching for a Change Management Specialist to support our work with a renowned federal agency where you will help drive modernization in one of the world’s largest data repositories. We are looking for full-time candidates currently residing in the United States. This position is available for remote work.
Position Description
We are seeking Change Management Specialist to lead and implement change management strategies for our government clients success of the IT/Product Modernization for one of the largest public repositories of high throughput data sequencing. In this role, you will guide organizational transformations, develop and execute change plans, and ensure smooth transitions while minimizing disruption. Strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of government requirements are essential.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Create a change management strategy for this highly visible data sequencing initiative
- Create custom tailored support strategies of the modernization initiative, including org structure, SOPs, and training
- Design a new organizational structure to support modernization efforts
- Ensure continuity of operations for the legacy system during the transition
- Establish and implement a structured Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) to guide the development process
- Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices throughout the initiative
- Provide coaching and training to the team to enhance efficiency within the new structure
- Develop training materials and conduct training sessions
- Develop comprehensive communication plans to facilitate change management
- Ensure clear and consistent messaging to all internal stakeholders.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field; advanced degree desired
- 5+ years of change management experience
- 3+ years working with Government clients
- Experience with applying ITIL standards for change management
- Experience updating and maintaining change management plans
- Must have strong oral and verbal communication skills

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and location. The targeted range for this position is $140,000 - $190,000.
