This position is responsible for managing, developing and motivating Area Manager/District Manager teams, implementing sales plans, achieving company and/or supplier goals, monitoring, developing and maintaining key account relationships as well as performing various administrative duties.
Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Working with suppliers and/or supplier brands to develop goals and ensure the successful execution of objectives.
- Work closely with our supplier partners to create a positive environment for achieving mutually agreed upon goals.
- Participate in building key account business to ensure brand execution by making calls with managers or reps.
- Engage supplier’s reps on a regular basis in programming/marketing programs to improve business.
- Take lead role in business reviews.
- Coordinate supplier “work-withs”/market visits.
Educate, train and coach company personnel to ensure strong brand development and support.
- Provide creative selling ideas/incentives/programs at sales meetings to maximize execution.
- Attend team meetings to discuss opportunities and issues.
- Spend two days per each month working with DM’s and two full days each month with reps to improve market conditions.
- Provide follow up notes to appropriate manager and general sales manager.
Perform miscellaneous duties including but not limited to:
- Abide by company and legal policies governing the industry.
- Demonstrate company loyalty, cooperate with and assist peers and other departments in attaining company objectives.
- Keep abreast of competitive information and activity.
