CG Generalist (Onsite in Melbourne)
We are looking for a versatile CG Generalist with experience in VFX, Animation and/or Games. The position is based in Melbourne and requires onsite work. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Australia.
You'll be involved in the following responsibilities:
- Liaising with animation, games and VFX studios to ensure our content is at the forefront of industry expectations
- Collaborating with our academic and operations team to bring the highest quality experience to our students and partners
- Creating high quality CG assets and projects
- Troubleshooting technical issues within projects
- Creatively challenging and guiding our students
- Coordinating projects
You'll have the following experience:
- 5-10 years of experience within an Animation, Games or VFX studio(s)
- A broad range of CG skills including but not limited to: modelling, rigging, animation, FX, lighting, and compositing, Unreal Engine
- Industry software including but not limited to: Photoshop, Blender, Maya, Mari, ZBrush, Substance, Houdini, Arnold, VRay, Redshift, Octane, Nuke, Unreal Engine
- Experience in a lead or supervisory position
- A genuine enjoyment and desire to help people reach their potential
