Your Role as CEO:

As the CEO of Venous Stent, you will guide the company from its initial clinical validation stages to full commercialization and market success. You will lead a cutting-edge medtech venture, managing innovation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving strategic growth to position the company for long-term impact in the industry.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Regulatory Oversight:
    Lead the company’s regulatory strategy and ensure compliance with relevant frameworks, including FDA and MDR (Medical Device Regulation), to gain market entry and product approval.
  • Financial Leadership:
    • Engage in the ongoing fundraising round and drive the strategy for the next round.
    • Build relationships with corporate investors and stakeholders to secure capital and expand business opportunities.
    • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure sustainable growth.


  • Strategic Corporate Outreach:

          Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with corporates, investors, and key stakeholders to expand market reach and enhance commercialization efforts.

  • Clinical Development Support:

        Collaborate closely with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to define and execute the clinical pathway, ensuring successful validation and adoption of the stent.


  • Medical Expertise:

        Leverage your knowledge of the medical field, particularly in medical devices, to support product development, clinical integration, and physician engagement.

  • Team Leadership:

           Lead and expand a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation,collaboration, and excellence.

Key Competencies & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading a medtech company, preferably in the cardiovascular sector.
  • Strong regulatory expertise, particularly in FDA and MDR compliance.
  • Financial acumen with experience in fundraising, investor relations, and strategic partnerships.
  • Ability to work effectively in clinical environments and engage with healthcare professionals.
  • Exceptional social and communication skills, with fluency in both German and English.
  • Comfort with high-level strategic decision-making and hands-on operational leadership.


Location:

The company is based in Maastricht (the Netherlands), working with key R&D partners located in Germany
