Do you like being the first point of contact for our members and club staff via the intercom system and directly assisting them with their questions or problems? Are you committed to ensuring safety by being the eyes and ears for our clubs remotely, especially when no club staff are present? Can you stay calm under pressure in stressful situations? If so, read on! We are looking for enthusiastic colleagues (32, 36, or 38 hours per week) who are also willing to work weekends and night shifts!
Your Role
As a Central Operations employee in our 24/7 department, you will be the first point of contact for our members and club staff in case of incidents. If they are at the club and have questions about, for example, access or need to report an unwanted situation, they can contact you via the intercom. With the variety of questions, each situation is different, and you will be able to assist members or club staff directly.
You are responsible for managing incidents and accidents reported during staffed and unstaffed hours. You will follow established protocols, communicate with stakeholders, and make quick decisions when the situation requires it. You will act as the key link between our internal departments to ensure incidents are resolved, allowing the clubs to remain open without issues.
Your Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for our members and club staff via the intercom.
- Ensure safety remotely.
- Provide technical support to prevent club closures.
- Manage incidents and accidents according to established protocols in a 24/7 environment.
About the Department
The Central Operations team consists of about 70 employees, coaches, and supervisors. The primary language at our office in Hoofddorp is English, but Dutch and French are also spoken, and in the near future, Spanish will be added. This makes for a friendly, multicultural team!
We are looking for several new colleagues who can work different shifts—morning, evening, and night. Depending on your availability, we can offer contracts for 32, 36, or 38 hours per week.
What We’re Looking For
As a Central Operations employee, you have a customer-friendly, service-oriented, and helpful attitude. You see rapid problem-solving as a challenge and are flexible in your approach.
Additionally, we ask for:
- Proficiency in Spanish and English.
- Availability for night and weekend shifts.
- A flexible mindset and the ability to switch quickly.
- A patient, stress-resistant attitude to assist members and club staff effectively in a 24/7 environment.
