Category Manager – Goldwell, Nordic 

Kao Salon – The House of Goldwell, Kerasilk, KMS, Oribe and Varis – is looking for a Brand Manager to lead Goldwell in Nordic.

We are looking for a passionate marketeer for the Nordic Marketing team, who will also collaborate closely with the Nordic Sales and Education teams as well as our regional Marketing team.  We offer a Global environment and close collaboration with colleagues in other markets and functions. You will be influencing what you do and how things are executed.  You will be leading the brand in the Nordic region and be overall responsible for the marketing activities.

Job Description
You will be part of the Nordic Marketing Team located in Copenhagen and have ownership of our largest brand Goldwell. You will execute the Nordic marketing plan for communication, promotions, PR and marketing materials.You will be working 360◦ with Education and Sales to ensure the brands come alive and maintain and build their brand equity. In this role you will be closely collaborating with the education department, digital manager and the Regional Marketing teams.

Goldwell covers our biggest business of hair color to professional hairdressers as well as our care brand Dual senses and styling brand Style Sign.

  • Role reports to Nordic Marketing Manager
  • Role is located in Copenhagen. 
  • Opportunity for hybrid work model, however min. 2-3 days per week in the office is expected
  • Some traveling within the Nordic region and Europe throughout the year

Responsibilities

  • Building from the Global brand strategy, develop and execute the Nordic plans.
  • Develop and execute campaigns, launches and general communication for the
    brands throughout the year, which delivers on brand value creation as well as
    increase in-selling and off-take in the salons.
  • This includes POS material, sampling activities etc.
  • Ensure presentations and material are ready for Sales conferences for Sales to
    be able to execute the brand plans and campaigns.
  • Present key initiatives at Sales conferences
  • Ensure PR plans from Regional/Global are implemented in Nordic.
  • Collaborate with the local eCom department
  • Tracking and analysis of brand and campaign performance to identify and
    execute opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage Marketing budget for the brand.
  • Ensure optimizing spend to build the brands best possible with the end goal of increasing sales.
  • Core member of the Marketing team, close collaboration with Sales and Education teams in Nordic as well as counterparts in other EMEA countries and in the regional Marketing team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree
  • 5+ years of experience. Experience/interest in Hair Care or Beauty category beneficial
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Office package
  • Native in one of the Nordic languages and full proficiency in English
  • Travel within Nordic markets and Europe - 1-2 travel days/month can be expected
