POSITION AVAILABLE
Your choice of hours:
- Full Time Evening Shift: 2pm - 11:30pm (9 hours shifts) with your choice of Tuesday - Friday or Monday - Thursday.
- On Call is required every 7 weeks for 7 days.
- Flexi status available too!
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Trade School Graduate: Radiologic Technology
- Advanced CT Registry in ARRT or CNMT must be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).
- NEW GRADS MAY BE CONSIDERED
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW
Our department is open 24/7 and performs approximately 1,400 exams per month. We have two newer scanners that are state-of-the-art to perform our CT scans. We are accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR) and are an integral part of our certified stroke team.

Job Summary
Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions). ARRT or CNMT is required. Staff within Sentara CarePlex, must obtain CT registry by 11/1/2016.
Qualifications:
TS - Trade School Graduate: Radiologic Technology (Required)ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Certifications - Other/National, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Certifications - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
