Casting Advisor & Scout (Trampoline and Tumbling)

Artistic Support

Full-Time Position

 


As a Casting Advisor & Scout (Trampoline and Tumbling), you will support the casting needs of the Resident Show Division while also contributing to the touring shows division, new creations, and special events. Additionally, you will oversee the Trampoline and Tumbling talent pool, manage scouting initiatives and conduct specialized evaluations for all rebound disciplines. This position reports to the Manager of Talent Scouting and Resident Show Division (RSD) Casting and will be based in Las Vegas. 


You will contribute to the success of Cirque du Soleil shows by developing and maintaining a network of people and organizations in the field of Trampoline and Tumbling Gymnastics, as well as the performing arts in general. 



Key Responsibilities:


- Providerecommendations and present talent to show management and creationteams. 

- Search for candidates worldwide, clarify, and validateartist profiles. 

- Ensureaccurate and complete documentation of artist profiles. 

- Develop, maintain, and utilizeprofessional collaboration withvariousfederations, schools, coaches, and clubs to ensure a successfulsourcingstrategy for T&T. 

- Carry out artistrecruitingactivities (auditions and scouting) as needed, followingestablishedmethodologies. 

- Write comprehensive reports following casting activities. 

- Perform all otherrelatedtasks as required. 

 


Qualifications:

 

Education 

- College or Universitydegree and/or 10 years of professionalexperience in a relatedfield. 


Work Experience 

- 3+ years of international experiencewithprofoundknowledge in casting, performance, and/or show creation. 

- Expertise and background in interntationalcompetitiveTrampoline and Tumbling Gymnastics. 


Languages 

- Fluency in English, bothwritten and spoken. 

- Knowledge of French or otherlanguagesis an asset. 

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Computer Skills 

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. 

- Experienceworkingwithdatabases and videolibrary applications is an asset. 


Other Requirements 

- Ability to evaluate talent in disciplines such as Trampoline, Trampwall, Tumbling, Teeterboard, and Russian Swing. 

- Experience and knowledge in otherperforming arts disciplines is an asset. 

- A solid network of national and international contacts in relatedfields. 

- Ability to workunder pressure and manageprioritieseffectively. 

- Strong diplomacy, discretion, and interpersonal communication skills. 

- Ability to workcollaboratively in ateam. 

- Flexibility and adaptability to changingpriorities. 

- Availability to travelinternationally as needed.
