Job Description
PURPOSE OF JOB/POSITION
Responsible for Treasury, Account Receivables and Account Payables activities.
Responsible for managing, monitoring and analyzing the collection with clients supported by the commercial areas, guaranteeing compliance with the indicators (portfolio days, uncollecti-ble amount, current portfolio percentages, etc). It is also responsible for the management of the company's treasury, monitoring and managing the company's monetary resources (cash flow, loans, dividends, etc.) complying with all the requirements of the different financial and government entities. Ensure that reports and financial information for Takeda Mexico's busi-nesses are
aligned with diverse internal and external needs, establishing internal control process,
acting as a trusted advisory for businesses and other areas of the company, in order to ensure compliance of these matters with the specific legislation, local Takeda procedures and corpo-rate guidelines.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Supervise and control the portfolio, carrying out analysis, monitoring and control in the collection to guarantee the correct recoverability of the accounts receivable of the company.
  • Manage the collection through the commercial team, supervising the payment behavior of the clients to carry out a timely control of the release of orders.
  • Analyze the financial risk of clients to manage their credit quotas, update and approval of credit limits.
  • Visit, management of agreements and commercial conditions with clients to control the behavior and analyze each one of the clients.
  • Present and analyze the Treasury and Portfolio Closing Reports to be presented to the committee.
  • Plan Treasury activities to coordinate with the local and Global Treasury, supervising the payment process to suppliers.
  • Manage, plan and control the cash flow for the optimization of resources and continuous improvement of operations (purchase of foreign currency, timely payment, etc.)
  • Proactively participate in all activities defined according to the position and role
  • Support to the internal and external audit process providing the information according to the needs and formats defined, with the aim of ensure that these demands are met within the defined schedules.
  • Establishing and maintaining local internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Monitoring and analyzing financial data to identify risks and opportunities
  • Support the company's governance process through interaction and directing the main leaders of the company, acting in the definition of responsibilities of those involved, also involving action in situations of mitigation of conflicts between the parties, with the aim of ensuring alignment from the performance of the areas to the defined processes
  • Maintaining relationships with Banks and Financial Institutions
  • Ensuring timely payments to vendors based on Takeda policies and procedures
  • Streamlining the processing of invoices and ensuring accuracy
  • Managing schedules to optimize cash flow and take advantage of any payment term discount.


Experience & Education:

  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Knowledge and management of the application of NIFF, IFRS, USGAAP, SOX, JSOX etc.
  • Knowledge of financial processes: Treasury, AP, AR, Iinternal Control, Analysis and association with the business.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel.
  • Previous experience working in the pharmaceutical industry (desired)
  • 8 years of experience executing and leading processes in the Accounting, Treasury, AP and AR.
  • Advanced English level
