This job is essential to Bank operations and will be an onsite role.
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of their respective shifts and providing adequate protection for the building.. This position is also responsible for the opening/closing of the vaults with Cash Department personnel..
Insure implementation of established security procedures. Schedule work assignments - attention to key posts and special assignments. Insure all visitors are properly identified, screened, recorded and controlled. Supervise response to alarms, summon EMT, Fire and Police if necessary. Insure all department personnel follow and enforce department regulations, procedures, post instructions and policies at all times. Assign personnel to provide rapid, measured response to emergencies. Conduct frequent building tours to insure adequate protection to staff and property, provide additional security as needed. Review Protection staff appearance and performance. Review and report absences and personnel problems. Conduct inspections of all posts to insure proper working conditions are maintained. Assist in development of department plans and procedures. Write and publish the Emergency Reaction Guide and update annually or as needed. Insure operators of the Criminal Justice Information System are trained and certified in the operation of the system.Perform other duties as assigned.This position is required to directly supervise 15-30 employees.Knowledge and experience normally acquired through, or equivalent to, the completion an Associate's degree and a minimum of 3 years of job-related experience. This position also requires applicable Specialized Training, Certification (NCIC) or Registration. All employees assigned to this position will be subject to FBI fingerprint/ criminal background and Patriot Act/ Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) watch list checks at least once every five years.The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work required of this position.
