Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Capital Markets Consultant – Project Manager to lead high-impact projects for our clients. This role is ideal for a dynamic professional with a deep understanding of capital markets and a proven track record in managing business, operational, and regulatory initiatives.

This executive-level role involves driving transformation across multiple domains, including operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, data governance, and digital enablement. You will oversee critical programs for global organizations, ensuring alignment with their strategic objectives while managing complex interdependencies across business, operations, and technology functions.

This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for professionals with extensive program management experience in the financial services sector and a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in high-stakes environments.

Key Responsibilities

Program Leadership:

  • Define and implement governance frameworks tailored to client needs, ensuring program objectives align with strategic goals.

  • Manage multi-year transformation roadmaps, coordinating across business units and technical teams.

  • Anticipate risks and barriers, providing proactive solutions to maintain program delivery on time and within scope.

  • Deliver comprehensive, transparent reporting to senior executives and stakeholders.

Client Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders, including C-suite executives.

  • Develop a deep understanding of client priorities and design programs that address their most pressing challenges.

  • Contribute to business development, client pitches and proposals            

Operational Delivery:

  • Oversee program execution, ensuring compliance with client methodologies and standards.

  • Build and lead high-performing cross-functional teams across diverse domains such as risk management, regulatory compliance, and technology transformation.

  • Ensure seamless communication between business and IT, driving consensus on requirements and deliverables.

Focus Areas:

  • Transformational initiatives for Tier-1 capital markets players (equity and fixed income products)

  • Key areas may include regulatory compliance, operational modernization, data governance, and digital transformation.

  • Programs involving multiple geographies, stakeholders, and functional domains.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in consulting, program management, or enterprise transformation.

  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale transformation initiatives in financial services, including banking, capital markets, or regulatory compliance.

  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, including asset classes, trading processes and systems, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., MiFID II, Basel III, EMIR, or equivalent).

Skills:

  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

  • Analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with attention to detail and a focus on outcomes.

  • Adept at managing competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

  • PMP/PMI or CSM certification required.

  • Proficiency in program management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).

  • Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred).
