Haleon is recruiting for a Capability Lead, this role involves overseeing and managing aspects related to skill development within an organization in partnership with the HR Site Lead and HAPS Team. This role will work within the HAPS program while connected with HR Business Partners and other Haleon Sites, to design and develop curated blended learning programes, that build the required future-ready capability.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess capabilities across the organisation, design and implement programmes and plans and support the strategic workforce plan.
  • Conduct assessments to identify the existing skills and capabilities of employees across different departments.  Analyse the gap between current skills and those required for the organization's objectives.
  • Design, implement, and coordinate training programs to address skill gaps and enhance employee capabilities. Facilitate opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.          
  • Support the HR Site Lead / HAPS Team in Change Management initiatives. Develop and maintain change and communications plans.
  • Partner with the L&D Team on learning initiatives and training programes Lead the capability build program, with the ability to work across key elements of the end-to-end learning process and specifically the early diagnosis and high-level design components.
  • Manage all levels of business unit/function stakeholders effectively, demonstrating strong business partnering skills and highly accountable for the design and delivery of fit for purpose solutions. Use business and commercial knowledge to challenge, influence and make informed recommendations on an ongoing basis.
  • Co-ordinate the effective development, deployment and embedding of competency framework across the business areas/functions and ensure these are aligned to the future Dungarvan vision.
  • Oversight of the design, development and deployment of the training & learning platforms for Dungarvan, leveraging a variety of solutions to create engaging learning and development experiences that drive individual and organisation performance.
  • Leverage, identify and apply relevant internal and external improvements to the development of capabilities, applying evidence based critical reasoning to ensure learning solutions are sustainable, future-ready and business driven.
  • Support line managers in delivering key standardised HR activities, coach and develop Line managers in HR procedure and processes etc.

Required Skills Sets & Experience:

  • University Degree in HR or a related field and /or strong evidence of ongoing relevant experience and continuous professional development.
  • Learning, HR, Organisational Psychology
  • A strong L&D background with experience of supporting performance and development.
  • Extensive facilitation and delivery presentation skills
  • A coaching qualification and or experience of coaching techniques throughout all activities to facilitate development of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills, project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Leading the design and delivery of learning programmes from concept to delivery, interpreting and challenging customer needs
  • Applying learner centred experience design, running focus groups and user testing.
  • Evaluating, selecting, and managing 3rd party suppliers.
  • Prioritising work and running multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience of working with a diverse audience to design solutions that work across regions, cultures, roles and levels.
  • Developing strong relationships and networks to get things done
  • Embedding, sustaining and measuring behaviour change as a result of your work.
  • A strong L&D background with experience of supporting performance and development.

Preferred additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Industrial Engineering
  • APICS Certification
  • Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
