ChristianaCare, is looking for a Full-Time Campus Operations Manager who will utilize our core values of Love & Excellence.
PRIMARY FUNCTION:
The Campus Operating and Ambulatory Manager leads operations at an assigned campus and the security programs at Ambulatory sites with overall responsibility for campus performance and caregiver experience. This role will focus on operational success, exceptional caregiver experience, business outcomes, security and emergency management in defined ambulatory settings.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leads activities to achieve to results for an assigned campus.
- Develops, maintains, and manages relationships to maximize the impact of business and experience initiatives pertinent to the campus.
- Responsible and accountable for monitoring and evaluating relevant operating metrics. Communicates barriers to goal attainment to the appropriate leaders and stakeholders.
- Manages the operational and strategic demands on the campus by addressing areas of campus development, facility health, and caregiver experience.
- Collaborates with leaders on campus strategy in the areas of campus development, enhancement of current services, and development of new services.
- Supports space planning and facilities/construction efforts for assigned campuses.
- Manages projects and initiatives aligned with capital and operational needs of the campus.
- Collaborates and maintains relationship with contractors and vendors in partnership with system leaders at assigned campus.
- Communicates to campus caregivers in an effective and timely manner.
- Performs assigned work safely, adhering to established departmental safety rules and practices; reports to supervisor, in a timely manner, any unsafe activities, conditions, hazards, or safety violations that may cause injury to oneself, other employees, patients and visitors.
- Coordinates with Executive Assistant(s) to develop and lead Executive Protection functions for Organizational Executives
- Coordinates with Ambulatory stakeholders to assess and conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Responsible for security service procurement for ambulatory sites and operational implementation, strategy and oversight.
- Coordinates and manages all security operations at assigned campus.
- Coordinates with Emergency Management for campus EOP and program management.
- Performs other related duties as required.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent law enforcement and/or administrative experience. (Preferred)
Five years of supervisory experience in a law enforcement agency, military experience, or healthcare public safety environment. (Required)
Constable Commission (training accredited police academy) or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Flexibility and emotional stability to work under intense emotional, time and volume pressures.
Acceptable Driver’s Record in Good Standing. Constable Commission (training accredited police academy) or ability to obtain within one year of employment.
