Job Description

At TOMRA Food, we’re transforming global food production to maximize safety, minimize waste, and ensure Every Resource Counts™. As a Buyer, you’ll play a key role in securing high-quality goods and services, supporting our spare parts schedules, and building strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

  • Issue and manage purchase orders while maintaining supplier relationships.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with the Service Department to align purchasing schedules with customer needs.
  • Support design engineering with supplier quotes for new and upgraded products.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals to secure the best value for TOMRA.
  • Research alternative parts sourcing for urgent customer needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years in materials buying; ERP system knowledge is a must.
  • Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills
  • English proficiency 
  • Associate’s degree in business, materials management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, and dedicated to excellence in quality and service.
