All about the role:

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Buyer to be responsible for processing purchase orders, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, creating, and maintaining an inventory, quality assurance and liaising with Receiving team and management. In this position you will work within Purchasing & Sourcing team, where you’ll have challenge of ensuring a broad scope of products/parts for different Product Lines and Finished Goods. The Buyer should be analytically minded and possess excellent negotiating skills to secure best cooperation with supplier.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage and develop good relationships with local and global suppliers to make better deals for the company
  • Negotiations with local and global suppliers in terms of better cost, transport, delivery conditions, etc.
  • Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
  • Arrange transport of goods and track orders to ensure timely delivery.
  • Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate
  • Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports to analyze suppliers’ performance and make improvements.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship and cross functional collaboration with Planners, Factories, Product Line and Receiving team.
  • Collaborating with category managers and ensuring execution of the sourcing activities and relevant information.
  • Understanding of purchase order data, shipment documentation, INCOTERMS
  • Solve supply chain problems
  • Develop an effective and accurate system for monitoring purchase orders

Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain roles, 2-4 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management or a related field will be preferred.
  • Strong negotiation skills for securing favorable terms and pricing.
  • Analytical skills, critical thinking
  • Communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in market conditions and business priorities.
  • Proficiency in using PC-based applications (Microsoft, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
