The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a Supply Chain Management and Synchronization professional to add to our team in Colorado Springs.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing the network of interconnected businesses involved in the ultimate provision of product and service packages required by end customers. Balance supply with demand, considering both lead time and demand variability created by supply patterns not matching demand patterns. Effectively collaborate and communicate with supply chain members. Integrate activities across organizations on the supply chain by ensuring information visibility in inventory levels, anticipated productions, and material-in-transit. Mitigate the bullwhip effect.
• Management of Government Property (GPM) and Contractor Acquired Property (CAP) including Planning, Price Negotiation, Procurement, Reporting and Property Movement to Government funded task and delivery orders.
• Through close involvement with Engineers, Project Managers, and other functional groups; implement strategic and tactical materials management programs to support production.
• Establish early supplier involvement and development of alliance programs to improve time to market, total cost and source optimization.
• Assist with evaluation, auditing, and management of quality requirements for new and existing sources to ensure they meet all requisite requirements (AS9100, space spec parts, etc.)
• Review and maintain Material Planning Requirements (MRP), evaluate all material demand, and procure to the appropriate lead-time and schedule.
• Under minimal direction, expedite and manage procurement of materials to fulfill Engineering requests as well as production buying via MRP commodity-based demand messages.
• Provide feedback of material fulfilment status, creatively source, expedite, and procurement planning of materials to fulfill Engineering requests.
• Advanced skills in procurement research and understanding of engineering nomenclature.
• Retain a strong understanding of strategic and tactical materials management programs aligned to support production.
• Build strong relationships with Engineers, Project Managers and other functional groups through regular material management and procurement planning meetings to clearly communicate delivery schedules, including delays and risk mitigation opportunities.
• Work directly with Manufacturing personnel to communicate Procurement delivery schedules along with real and potential shortages.
• Cross reference alternate manufacturer part numbers.
• Establish and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Coordinate and prioritize procurement activities with CACI Shared Service Center.

Required:
Education:
• Requires practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
• Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Must Have a High School Diploma/GED
• Must be able to Obtain a Secret Clearance
Experience:
• A minimum of 3 years of related experience.
Required Skills:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Windows and Office tools.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with management responsibilities for new and existing components and assemblies, including multi-source identification, material planning, procurement planning (use of P-Card or PR creation for PO) and inventory management.
• Forecasting and Database experience
• GOLDesp Database
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
• Able to work both within a team and autonomously as tasks dictate.
• Able to digest new technical information at a rapid pace for practical use. (BOM/Part #’s/Spread Sheets)
• Appropriate time management capabilities - able to both pace workload and provide feedback to leads on task progress.
• Eagerness to improve efficiency and streamline work procedures

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$47,100-$96,500
