Job Description
Purpose
Are you a Finance “jack of all trades” looking for a role where you can put your broad base of communication, analysis, and technical skills to use in the service of driving business value for customers and employees alike?
The Business Systems Analyst and NetSuite/Coupa Administrator will be responsible for working with Intelerad’s Finance teams to optimize and drive improvements to Intelerad’s financial processes and systems, while taking a hands-on approach to maintaining and enhancing our NetSuite and Coupa Procurement platforms and their associated ecosystem. In this role, you will take a lead role in defining the strategic roadmap for that ecosystem, executing on that roadmap, and acting as the main point of contact to aid our internal users in the ongoing administration, enhancement and support of the NetSuite and Coupa platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and configure Coupa and NetSuite to meet new business needs. You’ll be solving problems and making things work better – from troubleshooting issues to making strategic improvements that deliver greater efficiency and improved customer experience.
- Be the face of Coupa internally, helping colleagues across the company navigate the system, driving improvements and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Apply your knowledge of the NetSuite and Coupa platforms to lead innovation and be the voice of the “art of the possible”, enhancing business capability via wise, thoughtful application of system capabilities, coupled with sound process.
- You’ll work closely with our Finance and Procurement teams to make sure our policies, processes and systems are aligned with company objectives.
- In the Business Systems Analyst component of your role, you will procure, develop and document stakeholder requirements, collaborating with all necessary stakeholders to determine priorities, scope & acceptance criteria.
- You will drive continuous improvement by developing and refining processes designed to streamline financial procedures in areas like invoicing, month-end close, revenue recognition, and so on, creating efficiencies that enable timely and accurate financial reporting.
- You’ll support and guide investigations, documentation, testing, education, and problem solving related to NetSuite and Coupa change requests, service requests and projects.
- Act as Business Systems Analyst, NetSuite/Coupa administrator and Subject Matter Expert for change requests, service requests and projects.
- Perform general NetSuite and Coupa support functions, including creating and maintaining users, roles, permissions, perform updates, workflow creation, integration and configurations for forms and customers/contacts.
- Develop, test, and deploy customizations, custom objects, third-party tools, and new system functionality, based on evolving business needs
Qualifications
Employment Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to bring organization and clarity to, sometimes, chaotic, disorganized ideas.
- 3+ years of experience in a Finance or Procurement role with Coupa or other spend management systems experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administration, configuration, and development in complex business environments
- Experience with Zone Bundles, Suite Billing, Revenue Recognition with a good understanding of ZAB and Financial Eco-Systems.
- Knowledge of best practices in NetSuite and Coupa and an ability to collaborate with Finance colleagues and others to articulate problem/objective statements, evaluate process and system options, and recommend the best path to achieve those objectives
- Strong communication skills – you’ll need to explain tech stuff to non-tech people and lead discussions to reach clear, universally understood conclusions!
- Worked in a fast-paced environment dealing with multiple finance projects in NetSuite and/or Coupa at the same time and have executed them successfully.
- Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into functional requirements and clear, testable, acceptance criteria, working with stakeholders from teams across the organization.
- Ability to identify manual processes and assist in eliminating them and automating the same.
- Strong technical aptitude and a quick learner
