We’re looking for a manager to join our growing Business Operations team, specifically a leader who is a cross-functional relationship builder, with a keen eye for process modeling and analysis. You will be responsible for designing and executing high-priority initiatives to improve the organization's operational efficiency. This role regularly engages with a broad range of functional and leadership teams at Progyny to implement scalable solutions that support our staff and systems.   

What you’ll do... 

  • Process Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes to identify inefficiencies, improvement opportunities and potential risks. 

  • Process Design: Develop and implement new or redesigned processes that align with organizational goals and optimize performance. 

  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executives, managers, and team members, to gain consensus and support for process changes. 

  • BPM Tool Expertise: Proficiently utilize business process management (BPM) tools to model, document, and automate processes. 

  • Change Management: Lead change initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies. 

  • Data Analysis: Identify metrics to build dashboards and utilize data analytics to identify trends, measure process performance, and assess the impact of process improvements. 

  • Project Management: Manage and oversee process improvement projects from initiation through execution. 

  • Mentorship: Guide others to increase process modeling practice competencies while fostering and promoting a culture of continuous improvement across the organization. 

About you…  

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field. 

  • 10 years of experience in business process management, consulting, or a similar role. 

  • At least 3 years of healthcare industry experience, preferably in insurance and/or employer health benefits 

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred 

  • Familiarity with low-code/no-code platforms or process automation tools (e.g., SAP, Pega, Decisions, etc.) 

  • Demonstrated ability to automate business processes and workflows to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and increase agility 

  • Adaptive, curious, and inquisitive, a natural problem solver who enjoys synthesizing complex problems 

  • Self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and thrives in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment  

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and present to senior leadership. 

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) and ability to efficiently work with large volumes of data and pivot tables 

  • Able to work a hybrid schedule of 3 days/week in our NYC office

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $115,000 - $125,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
