Job description:

The Business Process Analyst performs analysis of end-to-end business process analysis related to Data Management and Analytics.  They perform assessments of the business model and its relationship with technology to identify opportunities or risks that have a direct impact to operational efficiency, customer experience, employee engagement or profitability, and help measure and articulate the business benefits from any recommended product development. 

Accountabilities:

  • Determine the present state of business processes related to risk and analytics
  • Evaluate the benefits and risks associated with business processes that utilize data
  • Document models of the processes, problem statements and key success factors
  • Facilitate product development through triage to digital product teams, and assessment of outcomes and user adoption
  • Communicate and facilitate changes in business processes
  • Measure and communicate benefits achieved with senior leadership

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business process analysis and project management.
  • Familiarity with process mapping and modelling techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, study and interpret complex data.
  • Ability to manage and perform multiple complex tasks as part of the daily work assignment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate process changes and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.

Bonus qualification:

  • Relevant certification in business process management or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of process improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma.
  • Knowledge of specific industry regulations and standards.
  • Experience in change management methodologies.
  • Familiarity with data analytics and visualization tools (Power BI and Tableau)
  • Familiarity with data governance and metadata management practices
